What a fun time at WORC Thunder Alley R/C Off Road racers track for the Nitro Hero Race!

It was a great time seeing old buds and hanging out with my friends thanks to Travis Jones RC for letting me tag along in the trailer!

Nitro Truggy:

The truck was on fire all day qualified 2nd in the A Main running the same set of SSLW Turbo Trax ( VP-804-M2 )  from the Summer Sizzler here as well and man they held up well! They took 20 more min of abuse like a champ. I would end up finishing 2nd after some good battles with Greg Smith throughout the main! Was a super fun race!

Pro Nitro Buggy:

My buggy engine gave me some attitude in Both my rounds of qualifying finally managed to land the tune right for the extreme heat and coming from an inside race at the end of round 2 and could only hope to have better luck in the B Main.

In the B Main I would start mid pack but immediately would jump up out front battling Joseph Stikeleather for the win. It was a good battle until I bobbled a lil bit and pit stops came about and the lead got stretched a Bit. So set it on cruise and took the #2 bump spot. I was running SLW Cactus (VP-808-M1 ) was great in the heat!

In the A Main this was a different story I kept the same tires but the main was as the sunset and SLW was not the compound to be on. It started great as the tires warmed up. But at the same time the sun was going down and temp was dropping quick. The tires were good with heat but a flame out due to not clearing out properly after fuel would cause my tires to cool down and that's all she wrote. The rest of the main was just trying not to be in the way. Overall I had a blast and was happy to bump but ultimately made the wrong decisions. There's always the next one!

My Tekno RC Rides were on point and my Ultimate M3X engines left me with no lack of power or consistency once I fixed my mistakes on the tune. As Always I had a tire option that worked in my bag from VP PRO!
